Background
The Magnolia Lighting Award, founded in 2018, is an Lighting Award centered in Southeastern China held by Shanghai Illuminating Engineering Society (SIES) , which aimed to promote the innovation and sustainable healthy development of lighting industry in the southeastern area with Shanghai as its core; and to recognize lighting works and lighting people who have made outstanding contributions to the Chinese lighting industry over the past year. The awards uphold the principle of "transparency and openness to the outside world", based on the artistic value (aesthetic trend), social value (influence), applicability, creative performance, sustainability and other dimensions, to select the award-winning works fairly and openly.
Award Setting
The Magnolia Lighting Award 2021 has two main categories: "Project Design Award" and "Lighting Product Award", which are awarded only to projects and products themselves, not to individuals/institutions.
Acceptance Requirments
1.The Project Design Award of Magnolia Lighting Award 2021
The Project Design Award of Magnolia Lighting Award 2021 is open to all design companies, design institutes, lighting engineering companies and other units or institutions registered in Shanghai or have contributed to the lighting construction in Shanghai. The following prerequisites must be met:
1）Subject qualification: The applicants shall be a design company with independent legal personality, a design institute (house), a lighting engineering company and other units or institutions.
2）Location: 1) The applicant shall be registered in Shanghai; 2) the applicant project shall be in Shanghai; 3) either of the two above can fulfill.
3）the applicant has the full intellectual property, no dispute.
4）Project volume: The projects will not be limited by size and mass, and can be a separate part of a big project or as a whole.
5）Application methods: We accept a single-body applicant or joint application (no more than 3 units).
6）Project completion time: Jun. 1st, 2019- Oct. 7th, 2021
7）Projects with international awards shall notify.
8）Projects that have won former Magnolia Lighting Award will not allowed this year.

2.The Product Award of Magnolia Lighting Award 2021
The Product Award of Magnolia Lighting Award 2021 is open to all maufacturers who have contributed to the lighting construction in Shanghai. The following prerequisites must be met:
1）The applicant shall be a supplier or institution of lighting products with independent legal personality.
2）The applicant owns the intellectual property rights of the product and the original certificate of the product, and there is no property rights dispute.
3）(1) The applicant company shall be registered in Shanghai; (2) the applicant products are used in Shanghai; (3) either of the two above can fulfill.
4）The applicant products shall pass national testing and meet the current national product standards.
5）Projects with international awards shall provide certificate materials.
6）The numbers of application have no limits.
7）The final interpretation shall be vested in the organizing committee.

Below is the Application Instructions for The Magnolia Lighting Award 2021, please download and read carefully. Any work (projects and products) that registers for the 2021 Magnolia Lighting Award is deemed to recognize and accept this notice, and the Organizing Committee reserves the final interpretation of the provisions.

The organizer will charge application fee according to the number of applicant projects and products.Once submitted, the application fee cannot be refundable

1）information submit time 1: Jul. 01th - Aug. 25th (￥500 per item)
2）information submit time 2: Aug. 26th - Nov. 1th (￥1000 per item)
2.Application fee payment deadline: Nov. 1th 24：00
Award declaration
1.Please fill in the information and submit before Nov. 1th, 2021.
2.The delivery time and place of all the products are still to be determined. The organizing committee will inform the applicant immediately after confirming the delivery time and place of the products.
