★ Preamble
　　Since 2001, the China International Lighting Exhibition (CILE) has been held in Shanghai, China every year. With the all-out support of the authorities of different levels and the elaborate arrangement of the organizing committee, after four years’ development, CILE has become one of the famous professional exhibitions in the industry. In the past for years, the total of the exhibitors from 26 countries and regions has exceeded 1500 and the number of trade audience has hit 120000. It is an annual trade carnival attracting numerous large international suppliers and global purchasers, and is the best site for the gathering of the professionals from the lighting industry.

　　Approved by Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission (SMERT), and co-sponsored by Shanghai Illuminating Engineering Society, Shanghai International Advertising & Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Kuozhan Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., the 5th China (Shanghai) International Lighting & Light Furnishings Exhibition 2006 is scheduled to be held at Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center during December 7 to 9, 2006. We hope that CILE 2006 will create another brilliance with you!

★ Review of 2005
　　The curtain has fallen on the successful CILE 2005 held from November 24 to 26, 2005 at Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center.320 domestic and foreign suppliers from 17 countries and regions participated in the exhibition. The three-day exhibition attracted 38,670 professionals, including 7843 foreigners. According to the surveys conducted by the organizing committee during and after the exhibition, 80% of the exhibitors are satisfied with the results of this exhibition and 78% of them expressed interest in participating in the 5th exhibition.67% of the exhibitors are of the opinion that CILE has more advantages than other exhibitions. It is estimated that the area of the 5th exhibition will be 15000 sq. m, the number of exhibitors will reach 800 and the visitors will hit 50000 man-times.

　　 600000 tickets will be sent to the professionals whose contact details are stored in our database. In addition, various industry associations, institutions and leagues will organize official visiting delegations, trade delegations and professional delegations to give instructions and make communications on the spot. These tickets will also be sent in the nationwide professional exhibitions to invite exhibitors and visitors.

　　Illuminating Source Products Show Area: New types of lamp bulbs, halide tungsten lamp bulbs (including single-ended, dual-ended, and reflection-type); fluorescence lamps (including straight tubes, ring tubes, compact tubes, and profile tubes, etc.); high-intensity discharge lamps, (high pressure sodium lamps, and metal halide lamps, etc.); various radiation illuminating sources (infrared and ultraviolet, etc.); high-frequency non-polar lamps; neon lamps; light-emitting diodes (LED); various signal lamps for traffic and transportation.
　　Lights & Lighting Furnishings Show Area: Household lights, architecture lights, mining lights, solar energy lights, spot lights, interior lights, air-purification lights and friendly environment lights, public lights, embedded lights, ship fluorescence lights, ship explosion-proof lights, road lights, special automotive sign lights, explosion-proof lights, underwater illuminating lights, and emergency lights.
　　Professional Lighting & Auxiliary Equipment Show Area (for neon, stage, movie, and TV lighting): Light adjustment and control equipment and light controllers (light control, sound control, infrared sensors, and light control panels).
　　Illuminating Electrical Appliances & Accessories: A variety of switches, electric wires, cables, relays, ballasts, triggers, transformers, insulating materials, electronic elements, lamp holders and lamp sockets, etc.
　　Illuminating Raw Materials Show Area: Phosphor powder, electronic powder, quartz capsules, glass tubes, electrode materials, tungsten wires, and other metal wiring materials.
　　Inspection & Measuring Equipment Show Area: Instruments and equipment for inspecting and measuring illuminating electrical appliances

★ Participation Fees (Note: A 20 % surcharge will be levied for reservation of booths with 2 facades.)

　　Each standard booth (L3m x W3m x H2.5m) consists of 3-sided white partitions, 1 bilingual fascia board, 1 power socket (no more than 500W), 2 fluorescent lamps, 1 information desk, 2 folding chairs, carpet, and wastebaskets, etc.
　　Each raw space consists of show area, carpet, security service and booth cleaning service.
　　Attendee’s service fee: Each attendee is charged RMB500 yuan for exhibition materials, exhibitor badge, lunches, and souvenirs, etc.
　　Exhibition Catalogue & Other advertisements
　　The size of the Exhibition Catalogue is 210mm × 285mm. Please send the film or design layout to the Organizing Committee prior to 10.11.06.
